What is the CWC’s mission?
A. The Caring Women’s Connection’s mission is to serve women and children in need in Lake County. Throughout Lake County, there are women and their families suffering the effects of domestic violence and homelessness. We see this need and have made it our mission to provide funds, donations and volunteers to improve their situations
What happens at Connection Events?
A. Our Connection events are social and informational. We like to say that we work hard and play hard in the CWC, and Connection Events are one of our best times to play! During events, there is plenty of time to socialize with friends and neighbors and enjoy some appetizers, desserts, drinks, & raffles. All Connection Events offer the chance to volunteer for upcoming CWC events. Events generally start at 7:00 unless otherwise noted but you may come and go as needed. We don’t have a formal “meeting,” other than announcements at the beginning of the night. Please check the Calendar for all dates, times, & locations of meetings.
Do I need to live in a certain village to be a member?
A. No, we are open to women from anywhere in the Lake County, IL area. We have members from Lake Zurich, Kildeer, Deer Park, North Barrington, Mundelein, Palatine, Wauconda, etc.
When does Support/ Pledge (formerly Membership) open?
A. You may donate anytime throughout the year! Supporters are billed on an annual basis from August – July. Our only planned supporters are our groups/ businesses/organizations.

Is there an age requirement?
A. We do not have an age limit; however, we suggest that members be at least 21, as we do serve alcohol at meetings.
Our role in the community is to help women and children in need in Lake County while creating and nurturing relationships within our organization as friends, business partners and volunteers.
Our theme for the 2021/22 year is “Imagine the Possibilities.” All of our events will relate to the theme.
There is a lot of excitement and buzz about the new and reoccurring events and programs we have in store for the year, and we want you to be part of it!
Everyone who gives a monetary donation above $100 toward the goal is a Love Fun Gem, helping us provide vital assistance to the programs we support. We also have corporate memberships and Connections Event sponsorships available.
Another really EASY way to help us reach our goal is signing up withwalmart.com. Next time you plan on making a purchase, please sign into your account. From there – go to “Change Charity” and type in Caring Women’s Connection (and choose Lake Zurich). It’s that easy!
